A native of Angamaly Kumari Nigi Johnachan aged 25,has been under treatment for a rare IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) at Lissi Hospital, Ernakulam . Now she has been brought to JIPMER, Pondicherry for further treatment. She has been suffering from severe pain in Large Intestine due to inflammation and undergone a surgery.But unfortunately this inflammation reappeared and it is diagnosed as "CROHNS DISEASE". For the treatment of the disease, available in India are daily biological therapy and strong injection 'Vedolizumab', which costs about Rs.64,000/- for each. During the final exam for nursing, she suffered severe pain and passed out her nursing course. Her family has five members and only source of income is her father's daily wage. His health is also not sound to continue the daily wage work. Her two brothers completed their studies and worked as trainee. Now this family is in huge debt, they seek financial help from everybody.
