Anju Sobin - Respiratory Failure & Muscle weakness

This is a help request for Anju Sobin 34 years. Anju has been a thyroid patient and recently developed a condition where her legs are weakening and is experiencing unbearable pain and was admitted to Carithas hospital. After multiple tests, MRI, ICU stay etc she is diagnosed with a rare disease called Myotonic dystrophy for which there is no curable treatments. All her muscles are weakened and she also suffered a cardiac arrest recently. Now she is home from the hospital and is completely bed ridden. She can only have liquid food and needs 2 oxygen cylinders a day.

Her husband Sobin who is a day laborer now sold their house and land for the treatments. They are now staying in an old rented house along with his aged parents. Their 7 year old son Ryan was born at 24 weeks gestation as a spastic child and is completely bed ridden with 90% disability (A separate special case will be opened for the treatment expense of the son Ryan) . The house has no facilities needed for the bed ridden mom & child. He has spent more than 25 lakhs on his wife’s treatment. Daily oxygen support & medicines for both cost around Rs 5000. He has been borrowing money and is finding it impossible to provide for the family with his limited means. Requesting help from Helpsavelife members to provide financial help to this deserving family
