Most of the people in the regions of Ethiopia where Bishop serve are very poor. During this holiday season, the diocese is planning to distribute food and cash to poor families. I request all you to help people in that part of the world during these difficult times. I am also attaching supporting documents.

Here is the request from the Bishop

I am planning to distribute the kits in several parishes with the collaboration of Parish priests and sisters.

I am planning initially for 200 families. It will depend how much I can gather for the purpose. Each kit will be of around 1000 Ethiopian Birr = 27 USD

I am planning to do it before Ethiopian Christmas which is Jan 7th. If not on Jan 18th for the feast of baptism of the Lord here in Ethiopia which is also a big feast here.
