Akhil Lal, 17 yr old boy, Cancer in the eyes

The help request is received from Mr. MK Lal, Mangalath House, Thaikkattussery P.O, Ollur, Trichur 680 306. His one and only son Akhil Lal 17 years old boy was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma (cancer in both eyes) at the age of 6 months. Since then he has been treated at various hospitals within and outside Kerala. He has undergone right eye enucleation (removal of the eye due to severe condition). At present he has lesion (damage in the eye due to cancer) in the left eye. He is undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, and local therapies.

He hails from a poor family. His father is a barber and his mother is a housewife. They have already spent a huge amount on undertaking various treatments with the help of good samaritans. They are requesting help from kind-hearted people for his further treatment to regain the vision. Approximate cost they expected for further treatment is about Rs.20 Lakh (US$ 26,000) for the surgery, medicine, etc. Their next appointment is on 05 Jun 2020 at Bangalore.
