Valsamma - thyroid cancer

The help request is received from Mrs Valsamma Tomy, 49 years, Kaniyilchirayil house, Anickad East P.o., Challolil kulam, Kottayam- 686503 . She is suffering from thyroid cancer . (Papillary Carcinoma Thyroid) . She was diagnosed two years ago at Carithas hospital Kottayam and surgery was done and continued with radiation therapy. After one year, on follow up, the cancer spread to the right side of thyroid also. Immediate surgery was performed on 5th September 2019 and continuing with the treatment. The expenditure of two lakh was partially met by relative and selling milk from cows.

Their family consists of her mentally retarded husband and special needs son and a daughter who is a student of BSc Nursing. The family is economically weak and was living with income from selling cows milk. They are now in utter distress and do not know how to proceed. Hence requested for financial help for her cancer treatment including medicines and scanning Let us support this patient financially for her cancer treatment and their living and reduce their distress and thus save a life.
