Vinod Joseph - Paralysed, bedridden

The help request is received from Mrs Bindhu P.P., Puthuparampil house, Ponkunnam P.O., Kottayam- 686506 for her husband Mr. Vinod Joseph. He is 38 years old, is under medical treatment at Carithas hospital, Kottayam following a stroke (Cerebrovascular accident, left basal ganglionic bleed with mass effect and midline shift and systemic hyper tension) .He underwent surgery and the cost of the treatment was about 3 lakhs. Due to stroke, the sole bread winner of the family is paralysed, bed ridden and needs continuous treatment. His family consists of his wife and 1.5 year old child and Vinod’s mother. His mother is also bedridden due to a heart condition and is undergoing treatment. Vinod was a daily paid coolie worker but is now is bedridden and unable to work. They are very poor, landless and have no other source of income. Therefore, they have requested for financial help to continue treatment for Vinod and his mom and to meet daily needs . Let us support this poor family for medical treatment of the patient and reduce their distress and save a life.
